Open Mic Folks, March Open Mic is this coming Sunday, March 1st….FIRST SUNDAY of the MONTH 7:00 pm. Heads Up it is also the RELEASE of Michael Cockram’s new CD at the Fay library from 2-4….not to be missed, Susan Shore and Trout Fishing in America joining him. We can’t wait, it’s an AMAZING work of art! (P.S. Michael is one of Omni’s esteemed board members)
So since April 22nd is the 50th Anniversary of EARTH DAY and because STILL ON THE HILL is dedicating this year to BIRDS we thought it might be a fun challenge for folks to write songs or poems about BIRDS for the April Open Mic…to begin an Earth Day month with a theme.
Of course this is not required to be part of the April Open Mic…just a suggestion if anyone is so inclined!
There is not a specific theme for March…anything goes as long as it is loosely about Peace, Justice or Ecology.
ALSO we want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the regulars who often bring treats/goodies to share…that is such a lovely touch and much appreciated. You know who you are! See you soon.
