SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
ELECTION DAY IS MAY 9 —
EARLY VOTING STARTS ON MAY 2
School board elections are just around the corner. With the passage of the LEARNS act, banning books and all the anti-trans legislation, these races are critically important to our public schools.
Who can vote?
If you live in the city limits of the Fayetteville School district, you can vote. School_Board_Zone_Map_2021.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) These are non-partisan races. If you don’t know who to vote for, call them or see who’s standing with them on social media! Springdale School district has two at large members running.
These are low turn out elections, so EVERY vote counts!!!!
Good candidates in our area:
Fayetteville – Directors Keaton Smith and Heather Clouse
Springdale – Directors Michelle McCaslin-Cook and Donald Tippett (neither Springdale candidate has a public online presence that we can find)
