As we reflect on this past year, we have much to celebrate. Our community of volunteer advocates continues to grow across the state. We have created new and meaningful relationships while engaging decision-makers at the local, state and national level on common sense climate policy.
We are very excited to announce that today we learned that a bill which aligns closely with CCL’s carbon pricing principles was introduced in Congress with bipartisan support. The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2018 was introduced in Congress by two Republicans and three Democrats.
Join us on December 12 to celebrate with friends both new and old and learn more about ways you can support climate action. We will kick off the evening with an update on the 2018 Arkansas poll by Dr. Janine Parry. Dr. Parry will discuss how public opinion on climate change has shifted this past year. We can’t wait to see you!
