Free Community Cookout Weds Sept 29

AR Criminal Justice Reform Coalition
County Problems Need Citizen AttentionFree Community Cookout Weds Sept 29, 6:00-8:00 pm, Elkins at Bunchs Park!
The conversations at the first 2 cookouts have been OUTSTANDING. Elkins folks are invited to make their voices heard next Wednesday.
Washington County Quorum Court is making questionable decisions about how to spend the American Rescue Act money.
This money is intended for direct housing assistance, small business assistance, job creation, infrastructure and education. Do you want this covid relief fund spent on a jail? Is that the most helpful way they can conceive of spending this resource? Apparently so.
The Quorum Court needs to hear from the people!
The Arkansas Criminal Justice Reform Coalition wants people to have a chance to talk to their JPs (Justices of the Peace) in our county. Come to the 1st Community Conversation Cookout will take place on Wednesday Sept 8th from 6pm to 8pm.
Your JP has been invited to attend. Find out what has been happening and what you can do to get REAL help for people of our community.
Please join us for a delicious cookout by Nate Walls of Second Hand Smoke, cooking up pulled pork, chicken, and a vegetarian option. Feed your family and let the Fayetteville county representatives (JPs) know how YOU’D like to have YOUR$23mmrescue money spent?
