Covid Safety at Omni for Hiroshima and Beyond

Ok, we get the point, Mother Nature. You’re not done with us yet. There are still lessons to be learned from coronavirus, and we need to take this seriously until everyone has this well in mind. For some reason, that could take awhile.

Omni was just getting excited about the potential to begin doing things together again and have been caught up short.

Hiroshima Nagasaki Day this Sunday is a case in point. When the current spike started we realized it would affect our plans, and decided to livestream to our Facebook page to let more Omni folks share in the observance safely.
For those who choose to come, here are some guidelines for safety we hope will help all of us to stay safe.
All peace people are important. Please be safe.Guide for use during any spike in the virus. As spikes are less threating rules can be relaxed.   1.    Attend activities only if you are vaccinated 2.    Wear masks 3.    If you don’t feel well stay home safely 4.    Hold group activities outdoors as possible. On the Omni House patio or other spaces. 5.    Indoor group activities need to be fewer than 10 people, social distanced and wearing masks. 6.    Livestream events and promote them for covid safety. Small groups may be present during the livestreaming that are socially distanced and masked. 7.    Microphone use includes covering the mic with a new disinfecting wipe for every speaker or performer 8.    Performers and speakers may remove masks at the mic, but need to keep distant from audience and other people while they’re maskless 9.    Restroom use ·       Wipes in all bathrooms are for you to use. Wipe any surface you need to touch to your own comfort level ·       Good Handwashing is important ·       Use wipes to open bathroom doors, flush and turn sink handles
Omni House is a peace community space. It misses you, Omni folks. Looking forward to being together again someday soon, but until then we’re hoping to see more of you online.
