Meet Dr. Mike Bolding…
New Beginnings Shelter is partnering with Washington Regional Medical Center to launch the first ever medical respite program for homeless people in Arkansas. Dr. Mike Bolding is a hospitalist at WRMC and sees first hand the challenges involved with caring for people without homes in Fayetteville. Dr. Bolding and his team of hospitalists and case managers will identify patients who need more time to recover, but the hospital is no longer an option for them. A Place to Heal will be that place. Any continuation of care that would be done in a home, will be done at A Place to Heal for our unhoused neighbors.
You can help us reach our goal of $75,000 with NWA GIVES and NEW BEGINNINGS to provide the space for Dr. Bolding and his team work with A Place to Heal and meet this need in our community.
