Charlotte O’Neal visits Fayetteville

Pete can never return, but “Mama” Charlotte O’Neal is a fascinating speaker who makes trips to the US. Fayetteville is very lucky to have this chance to meet Mama Chrlotte, and hear some of the stories of her and Pete’s lives in Tanzania.

Building the Masterplan for the Omni Grounds

Sun March 8 – 1:00 pm – Omni Second meeting of volunteers meeting to create a master plan for Omni’s grounds that will include the Hank Kaminsky sculpture “Peace”. Architect Michael Cochram and a group of volunteers are working through a consensus based decision making process to see that this project has wide buy-in from Omni members and friends. Where’s the Lasagna?

Some Omni folks have been asking when the Annual Gathering of Members and Friends will be happening. Here’s the short story: As you know, we used to do it in February but moved it to May last year to avoid ice storms. That wasn’t the perfect time either, so the planning group for the event has decided to make the Annual Gathering a fall event. We’ll be updating you as plans emerge, but look for lasagna in September, after Hiroshima Nagasaki Day in August.
