Your story’s better than mine.
Our thoughts and feelings about the election matter. America was on the verge of losing its democracy, and (not sure yet) we may have won. A watershed challenge to freedom may have been met successfully!
Or maybe not. Maybe the final challenge lies ahead. Until we can look back from a world where democracy means all of us are respected and valued members of a culture that upholds the rights and well-being of people, planet and community, the job isn’t finished.
But what we just did is wonderful. And what we learned from it is valuable.
What can you share that needs to be remembered about this time? Right now, while the feelings are raw and the wounds still unhealed, write them down and share the memory for a future when we’ll need this learning again. Seriously. You know we’re not done yet.
