Come join us for our Thanksliving holiday celebration dinner!
Though eating vegan, vegetarian and plant based has become more accepted and adopted these days than ever before and recommended by many health professionals (see Forks Over Knives, Eating You Alive, The Game Changers) to prevent and often reverse life threatening illnesses, as well as reducing greenhouse gases, pollution and animal suffering, many of us who are have a difficult time at Thanksgiving and other holiday dinners this season.
Often, it’s meager food options with family and friends being inconsiderate (or rude). Many are uncomfortable with animal flesh as the centerpiece of the meal. It can be a real challenge! Some of us are fortunate to have kind, considerate family and friends who make the time/effort to accommodate us at meals. We can be thankful for them, as well as all who are kind to animals, the earth and each other.
It’s really nice to have this alternative where we can have a delicious all vegan meal and celebration with like minded/hearted folks. Like you!
Please bring a vegan dish to share enough for at least 8 servings. Traditional style, or non traditional is fine. Dessert and beverages (no alcohol) are welcome additions, if you want to bring any.
It would be great to see some of our new members, as well as regulars and long time members that haven’t been to a meetup in awhile. Come out, come out wherever you are! 😃
Hope to see you there!
