If Democrats don’t vote, we lose. It’s as simple as that. Starting now we need to get out the vote. We need your help today to keep these states blue by writing “please vote” postcards to Democratic-leaning, low-propensity voters in Virginia and New Jersey. Our goal is to write three million postcards to voters in these two states, and we are a third of the way there.

Postcards to Swing States is a project of the Progressive Turnout Project. You tell them how many postcards you can write, and they mail you a batch of postcards addressed to the type of voters who need that extra “nudge” to cast a ballot. And they give you poll-tested talking points that will help you craft the most effective get-out-the-vote message when you write. In 2020, volunteers sent 21 million postcards to voters in 14 swing states—with incredible results. With two crucial gubernatorial races in November, the goal is to have volunteers write 3 million postcards to Virginia and New Jersey. And we’re already one-third of the way there. Virginia and New Jersey may have Democratic governors, but only a few short years ago they would elect Republicans. Thanks to the hard work of turning out low-propensity Democratic voters, we have changed that. We can’t afford to go back by allowing voter turnout to slip.
