Real Life Experiences From The West Bank

Friday, September 20th, from 6 pm – 8 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2925 Old Missouri Rd., Fayetteville, AR), we will be hosting a discussion panel highlighting the lived experiences of those enduring apartheid and occupation in the West Bank. Their stories reveal the tough realities and reinforce the call for justice and change. The West Bank faces heavy restrictions from Israeli military presence, roadblocks, and settlers’ violence, which limit movement, access to natural resources, and other resources. Palestinians deal with high unemployment, limited healthcare, and education challenges. Despite these difficulties, they continue to fight for their rights and self-determination. Please join us in this opportunity to learn more about what Palestinians face on a daily basis and strengthen our solidarity with Palestine.

Informative panel facilitating a conversation with Dr Geoffrey Levin include NWACC Adjunct Instructor & former Fayetteville HS history teacher, Dr Susan Colvin, UA Middle Eastern Studies Prof, Dr Ted Swedenburg & Dr Hamed Al Alamat, NWACC professor. Please mark your calendar & forward this invitation to others & post on social media.
