2020 CFC Convention

Attenders at the Convention are members of Member Groups or observers. Observers will not vote on issues but may watch the proceedings and consider if groups they participate in should join the Congress. For more information call the Congress at congress@citizensfirst.org or (501) 376-7913. Omni Center has been a member group for many years and can also share information about the process.

The purpose of the Citizens First Congress Convention is to elect the CFC’s platform of issues that the CFC will support during the 2021 Legislative Session.

The goal of the convention is to bring together people from all over the state with differing viewpoints. We have a structured process for the Conventions that allows each organization’s delegates to participate in a fair manner. 

The Arkansas Citizens First Congress is a coalition of grassroots communities and allies working together to establish a strong public voice to influence political and policy decisions and ensure accountability.
We strive for consensus, which involves several steps, taken in order. The Congress is the primary organized lobbying group for progressive issues in the state of Arkansas. More information about the Congress at their page here:
