Sun Aug 27- 4:00 pm – OMNI There’s a plan afoot for the Women’s Community to sponsor a visit from noted peace activist and local girl Ann Wright. We’ll talk at this meeting and come up with the plans. We’ll also nurture each other to move forward together!
Thurs Sept 7 – 7:00 pm Walton Arts Center There are plans for a special September meeting at the Walton Arts Center, you’ll want to hear about it. Artists reception for beautiful exhibit on glaciers, and CCL presentation. More info soon. We hope to see you there!
Set Sept 9 – OMNI – time TBA The National Draft Bernie campaign is exploring interest in a third party run by Bernie or other candidates. In some states local races are being planned. This event will give people information about what’s been happening with the campaign since the last election. A day-long livestream of the national event will be going on, with speakers and performers, and local discussion will continue through the day. More details will be released soon. Bi-weekly meetings are going on. Next meeting Thursday Aug 24, 6:30 at Fay Public Library.
