Soldier’s Heart Comes to Arkansas

Sat July 13 – 5:00 pm – Omni Center Introducing a brand new project in Northwest Arkansas. Soldiers Heart is a healing project to help PTSD sufferers who have been harmed by war. The project is led by Vela Giri, who hosts the Soldier’s Heart show on KPSQ Radio. At this event you’ll hear about the history, and the fascinating healing process that has been used across the country for over a decade, and now is coming the our area. Green New Deal Town Hall

Wednesday May 29 – 5:30-7:30 – Fayetteville Library Walker Room This Town Hall is for concerned people – youth and adult – who want to know more about the Green New Deal, The Energy Innovation Act, Juliana vs. the United States (Our Children’s Trust), as well as local climate impacts. It will include lots of creative elements, like art, writing, music, food, and puppets. Speakers will include youth leaders who are very knowledgeable about the climate situation and will share important perspectives from their points of view. Last Open Mic til September Sunday May 5 – 7:00 pm – Omni Center Greetings Open Mic Folk, May 5th is the last Open Mic of the season. We will close down for the summer like we usually do and will resume the FIRST SUNDAY of SEPTEMBER. We have invited some young activists to come and sing. I hope they do come….I’m sending a reminder.
