Pete can never return, but “Mama” Charlotte O’Neal is a fascinating speaker who makes trips to the US. Fayetteville is very lucky to have this chance to meet Mama Chrlotte, and hear some of the stories of her and Pete’s lives in Tanzania.

Sun March 8 – 1:00 pm – Omni Second meeting of volunteers meeting to create a master plan for Omni’s grounds that will include the Hank Kaminsky sculpture “Peace”. Architect Michael Cochram and a group of volunteers are working through a consensus based decision making process to see that this project has wide buy-in from Omni members and friends. The documentary centers on 62-year-old veteran of Japan’s Second World Warcampaign in New Guinea, Kenzo Okuzaki, and follows him around as he searches out those responsible for the unexplained deaths of two soldiers in his old unit.
