How can you help during this year’s legislative session?
Glenn Hook says:
The Arkansas state legislative session just started, during which 135 senators and representatives will begin attending to the people’s business. We welcome them to Little Rock and look forward to a productive session over the next few months.
As always, Audubon will be present and active at the Capitol during this critical time. We will be monitoring legislation, advocating strongly for legislation that protects birds, advances clean energy, and moves the needle forward on combating the effects of climate change.
Audubon’s strength and effectiveness lies directly in your passion and commitment. We need Audubon supporters who are ready and willing to contact legislators, show up to the Capitol, and stand firm for the kind of legislation that advances our priorities.
I’d welcome YOU being one of those Arkansans.
As an Audubon supporter here in Arkansas, you have the kind of credibility that makes a difference at the State Capitol. Sometimes it just takes a simple phone call to your senator or representative. Other times, we may need you to show up at the legislative session to testify or speak directly to your legislator. Or, if writing is more your style, we’d welcome your help in showing support with a letter to your local newspaper. There are many ways to help Audubon’s cause.
