Where’s the Lasagna?

Some Omni folks have been asking when the Annual Gathering of Members and Friends will be happening. Here’s the short story: As you know, we used to do it in February but moved it to May last year to avoid ice storms. That wasn’t the perfect time either, so the planning group for the event has decided to make the Annual Gathering a fall event. We’ll be updating you as plans emerge, but look for lasagna in September, after Hiroshima Nagasaki Day in August.

Protest Sat Jan 25 – 1:00 pm Washington County Courthouse Dickson St. Dear Friends, Although the Iran War has de-escalated some, new starvation sanctions are being placed on Iran, which is deadly economic warfare. For example, Trump’s sanctions on Venezuela killed over 40,000 people, and Bush-Clinton sanctions killed over 500,000 children. The sanctions are intended to make the population suffer so much they’ll overthrow their government. 1. Although we, regrettably, cancelled last week’s protest due to weather and too few waterproof signs, a few people showed up anyways! We really need to make rainproof signs!  We’ll now focus all our energy on ensuring the big Global Day […]

At the end of the day, lay it all out and see what you think. Was any of it avoidable? What changes, if any, do you want to make? Keep this up for one week, one month, or longer. – The Daily Gratitude: at the beginning or end of each day, make a list of all the material positions you are grateful to have. This is a gentle […]
