Thursday June 6 – 6:30 pm – Omni Center Featuring Professor John Gallagher on the NWA PIT Count Remember the PIT Count is the Point In Time Count that HUD sponsors every year. It’s a snapshot count of all the homeless people in our area that can be found at that one point in time. It happens in January, and involves so much data that it takes 5 months of math to sort it all out. Dr. Gallagher has been busy. Many of us who have been following and understand what is happening in Palestine think immediately of Aaron Bushnell. Aaron Bushnell died on February 25th of this year, succumbing to the injuries he sustained in an extreme act of protest.
