Gratitude for Omni People

It’s the season of gratitude, and with all the things eroding into crazy across the globe we can send out thoughts of peace and comfort to all those suffering ones, and hold the gifts of good lives we’re so fortunate to be enjoying right now.  Special gratitude to all the Omni folks who have supported Omni over the years. Sending out some extra blessings aimed at you.  Here’s a gift of gratitude. A short video on gratitude that features the voice of Brother David Stiendl-Rast speaking quiet words of his own sense of this season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLkmw7RBqYg

Tonight good ‘ol Indivisible is holding a webinar on “Bracing for Impact” that seems very relevant today. I have no idea what they’re going to say, but you may feel like listening in along with me. Homeless Solutions Invites You

Thursday Nov. 7 – 6:30 pm – Omni Center Things are getting exciting for Homeless Solutions folks. SEVERAL of us attended the Housing Crisis Task Force in October and heard from presenters and Task Force members how very hard it is to build low-income housing in our town. The presenter was Brandon Scalion, of Countdown Properties LLC. Brandon successfully built a development of low-income apartments in Clarksville with warm help from city officials, staff and other partners. He came to Fayetteville thinking he’d do that for us too. What a beautiful idea. But …. after 4 months of fighting city […]
