Help for immigrants attacked by ICE in our own area

There’s a group working out of Rogers to help immigrant families who’ve been targeted by ICE, one person and one family at a time. If you’d like to help them, there is a way. Nicole Mozzoni is collecting for several families, with more to come. Her phone is 479-644-0710, if you can help.

Right now a big need is for a family who’s father was picked up and deported from his workplace, leaving his family behind. The stress on his wife made her have a stroke. Now she and the kids need warm-weather clothing to get through the winter. Here’s what they need right now:

Boys coat 5t or 6t

Girls coat medium, or 3t

older boy size medium coat

older boy size large coat

Older boys might prefer hoodies or sweaters

The 5-year-old boy also needs shoes, size 12 kids

Nichole is also collecting money to help American-born children get passports. It costs a pretty penny, but it protects them, and may allow them to travel to their home country to visit their parents, and then return. Doesn’t this situation just give you chills? Can’t believe this is happening here.
