Information for your team for the PIT count.
Dear Community Members,
We are gearing up for the 2025 Point In Time (PIT) Count, an annual effort to document homelessness in our community and gather crucial data to address housing needs. The PIT Count provides essential insights that help shape service planning and resource allocation for those experiencing homelessness. We need your help to make this year’s count a success, and it’s deeply meaningful for everybody who helps!
Volunteer Opportunity: We are seeking volunteers to support this important event. Training will be provided to ensure that all participants feel confident and prepared to contribute to this vital community project, with the actual count taking place on Friday, January 31st. By participating, you can help make a real difference in understanding and addressing homelessness in our area.
Sign up by filling out our Volunteer Interest Survey here:
Fundraising Support: We also need your support to provide resources for our volunteers and ensure we reach as many individuals as possible during the count. Donations are
crucial for enabling community interventions and supporting those in need. Every contribution helps us take steps toward ending homelessness in our community. Community members interested in contributing can do so via the Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care’s website!
For more details, please contact Dr. John Gallagher (jmgallag@uark.edu) or Sam Statland (pitcount@uark.edu). Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
Thank you for your support!
