Major landmarks for renewable energy – China and India In the first six months of 2025, the world’s solar and wind farms generated more electricity than coal plants for the first time in history. China and India have led the surging installation of solar and wind energy generation. China added more renewable energy generation in the first half of the year than the rest of the world combined — adding so much that their use of fossil fuels dropped 2%. he January assault by U.S. forces on Venezuela is an affront to everything the Omni Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology stands for.  We are not at war with Venezuela and have no right to sweep down in a violent assault capturing their President and recklessly destabilizing a sovereign country. Furthermore, this action was done without consultation with members of congress, as is required. It was an appalling, illegal, immoral act.
