Thursday June 6 – 6:30 pm – Omni Center Featuring Professor John Gallagher on the NWA PIT Count Remember the PIT Count is the Point In Time Count that HUD sponsors every year. It’s a snapshot count of all the homeless people in our area that can be found at that one point in time. Friday May 24 – 5:30 pm – Fayetteville Town Square Friends of Palestine NWA Memorial Day is the day that the United States has set aside to honor and remember those who died while serving in the military. Many of us who have been following and understand what is happening in Palestine think immediately of Aaron Bushnell. Aaron Bushnell died on February 25th of this year, succumbing to the injuries he sustained in an extreme act of protest.
