Wealth Tax on the Wealthiest Half of 1%Could Raise $2.1 trillion Annually The Tax Justice Network recently reported that if all countries enacted a wealth tax on the wealthiest 0.5% of their populations, as Spain did recently, countries would raise $2.1 trillion per year. They noted that this sum is almost twice the entire cost of the external financing that developing nations will need annually to combat climate change. Real Life Experiences From The West Bank

Friday, September 20th, from 6 pm – 8 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2925 Old Missouri Rd., Fayetteville, AR), we will be hosting a discussion panel highlighting the lived experiences of those enduring apartheid and occupation in the West Bank. Their stories reveal the tough realities and reinforce the call for justice and change. The West Bank faces heavy restrictions from Israeli military presence, roadblocks, and settlers’ violence, which limit movement, access to natural resources, and other resources.
