Citizens Climate Lobby Conference Report

Just Wow! This year, CCL Arkansas sent 18 people to the Annual Conference to remind our legislators that climate change cannot be ignored, and to have a whole lotta fun. People Power Project

Weds June 28 – 6:30 pm – OMNI Center Working on a different tack to protect immigrants in Northwest Arkansas. We are reaching out to local elected officials for dialogue on policy and law to making Washington County a welcoming place. RESULTS!

Monday June 26, 6:00 pm, OMNI New group is forming that you’ll want to know about. RESULTS is a 40-year-old project whose mission is to end global poverty. Whew. RESULTS founder is the same person who founded Citizens Climate Lobby, and his model of relationship developing across the aisles has been so powerful that it’s being adopted by several social change groups who want to see action in Congress and change in our nation.
